Today I took a visit to the last summer session of Fun Food & Friendship at St James Church.

I was made very welcome, especially by a little boy called Cameron who informed me I was late, and subsequently arrested me, parading me around the hall as his prisoner.

It was great to see such a large turn out at the group, with upwards of 40 children and their families fed a hot lunch time meal, and provided with a “take home tea”.

Fun Food & Friendship, along with all other groups run in association with Bridging the Wallasey Gap will return for the Autumn half term holidays.
